Food Destination Business Survey 2019

Monday 11th February 2019

Are you a food and/or drinks producer or a hospitality provider? If so, we want to hear your opinion on how we can help make the Ards and North Down region a premier destination for Food & Drink.

About the Food Destination Development Plan

The Ards and North Down Council Food Destination Development Plan (FDDP) aims to position Ards and North Down borough as a premier food destination on the island of Ireland.  Further information on the FDDP is available here.

The next step in the delivery of the FDDP is to identify a tailored programme of support for businesses involved in the Food and Drink sector, including producers, processors and hospitality providers within the borough.

About the Food Destination Business Survey

The Agri-Food Business Development Centre at Ulster University Business School has designed this survey, which is aimed at owners or managers of food and drink sector businesses. The results will shape the content, timing and delivery of future business support and training to drive sales growth and increase visitor spend.

Getting Involved

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Your input is vital to shape future support within the sector. All answers will remain confidential. Please can you respond by Monday 4 March 2019.

Some parts of the survey have been tailored to look at specific needs within the sector.

If you are in the Food and Drinks Industry (i.e. food and drink producers, manufacturers, retailers, distributors, transporters or market stall owners/managers) please click here to complete the survey.

If you are a Hospitality Provider (i.e. owners/managers of restaurants, hotels, food/drink operators, takeaways/fast food premises, pubs, bars, nightclubs, cafés, cookery schools,  mobile food vans, B&B’s, guesthouses and Air BnB’s) please click here to complete the survey.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to inform the progress of the Food Destination Development Plan. If you have any further queries please feel free to email Dr Lynsey Hollywood: l.hollywood@ulster.ac.uk
